RPC's mission includes strengthening the use of research in policy by facilitating meaningful, action-oriented collaboration between legislative officials and researchers. Through this experience, I have been exposed to a wide variety of cutting-edge research translation activities for policy audiences. * Compiled and synthesized research materials provided by RPC's Rapid Response Network, including on topics related to public health, the prevention of social problems, and equity in policymaking * Drafted research-based communication products (e.g., policy briefs)* Recorded implementation data and conducted data quality checks* Attended and took notes for meetings with legislative staffers on research needs * Collaborated cross-functionally with Evaluation/Data team* Utilized technology tools to communicate in a remote/virtual environment * Created/updated internal process and training documents * Developed a dashboard to visualize data aligned with strategic goals * Provided one-on-one support and feedback on written products for new trainees

As a professional writer and career strategist, I specialized in helping executives and leaders in healthcare, human resources, and legal roles position for target positions through high-impact resume writing and career branding services.

I had the pleasure of teaching the following courses in the undergraduate business forensics program:• Interviewing Techniques for Fraud Examinations• Legal Elements of Fraud I also served on the Expert Resume Review Team to help students and alumni create strong resumes at all career levels.

I provided high-level customer service in key HR functional areas to the staff of the state’s highest court, as well as, support for judges and court personnel throughout Ohio. I supervised HR team members specializing in benefits and payroll and oversaw the leave management program. I provided advice to employees and all levels of management on a wide variety of complex employee relations issues at one of the country’s best and largest pediatric healthcare organizations. I served as a lead investigator on workplace investigations, facilitated the ADA interactive process, delivered trainings, collaborated with colleagues in all HR functional areas, and assisted leaders with strategic action planning in response to employee exit and engagement survey data.

I represented the City in all facets of employment related litigation. I successfully defended the City in multiple lawsuits and obtained numerous arbitration awards in favor of management. I provided legal advice on a wide variety of labor and employment law issues to HR and Department Directors.
