I conducted research in contribution to an ongoing project initiative “Addressing the challenges of smallholder farming communities: Restoring Degraded Agroecosystems (2014-2017).” My work evaluated the impact of different pasture management options on soil health and functioning in the central highlands of Nicaragua, specifically focusing on the linkages between soil macrofauna and soil physical properties (e.g. infiltration, aggregation and compaction) within pasture systems.Funding: Research and Innovation for Agriculture Fellowship; Henry A.
