This past summer I had the pleasure to intern at The Children's Place Corporate Office as a Global Merchandising Intern. Some of my tasks included performing competitive analysis for comparable brands and product offerings to maintain competitive advantage and creating excel sales reports to calculate sales ratios and to track best sellers to ensure product development. I worked cross functionally with planning and sourcing departments to reduce costs and to achieve the best possible margin through deep understanding of the product life cycle. Lastly, I participated in a group intern project focusing on global personalization and digital marketing that was presented to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.

Earlier this year, I had the amazing opportunity to be selected into the Citi Early ID program. This consisted of a 6-week program to explore investment banking topics and to discuss current financial issues. I am so thankful for this opportunity and am grateful to have learned and prepped technical financial topics such as valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets.
