CurrentI am part of the team responsible for the pioneering program at EmpoderaClima, funded by the Re-Earth Initiative, called "Empoderando Pelo clima" (in English, Empowering for Climate). This initiative aims to empower and accelerate climate activism among 15 young women aged 18 to 28 in Brazil, focusing on historically excluded groups, such as Black and Indigenous people, people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and low-income communities.The project seeks to empower young women activists to promote climate justice in their communities in Brazil by creating a climate project after a 6-month training program covering topics such as public policies, project management, climate activism, and more.As a Project Assistant, my responsibilities include:• Planning and managing the "Empowering through Climate" climate education project.• Preparing documents such as minutes, informational materials, terms of reference, contracts, analytical reports, and spreadsheets.• Managing relationships with partners and strategizing to establish partnerships.• Supporting budget management activities.• Assisting in implementing the project management and monitoring system.
