Emily serves as the primary point of contact for over 200 medical scribe employees through onboarding, credentialing, and separation across eighteen hospital sites. She has contributed to ten SOP training procedures for the HR team, created three new SOPs, and is currently developing an intranet resource for the company in collaboration with IT, Sourcing.

Emily served as the Director for all youth and adult liberal religious education programming. She facilitated the “Our Whole Lives” comprehensive sexuality education curriculum for all age groups, and chaired the Safe Congregation Response Team (SCRT), developing safety policies and protocols.

Emily was the founding Director of Campus Advocacy, Resources & Education (CARE) at UC Santa Cruz, which provides confidential advocacy for survivors of interpersonal violence and promotes consent culture through prevention education. She created organizational structure, departmental policies and protocols, and developed branding and marketing for the new.

UC Santa Barbara

Emily acted as the primary outreach and education provider for the Campus Advocacy, Resources & Education (CARE) program Department of Justice grant. In that role, she provided educational workshops on interpersonal violence prevention for diverse student populations on campus, and trained over 1,500 college students, including Green Dot bystander.

Emily coordinated signature events for the Women, Gender & Sexual Equity department, which works toward creating a campus environment that is safe, just, and equitable for students, staff and faculty of all gender identities, gender expressions, bodies, sexual orientations, and racial and ethnic identities. This included planning events for the Women's.

Emily supervised undergraduate student staff on every aspect of program planning, including reserving event space, coordinating schedules, advertising, inviting speakers, managing food and materials budgets, creating content, event facilitation and program assessment. She created content for new programs for the department on topics of gender and sexism.

As a teaching assistant in the Sociology department, Emily taught undergraduate sections, updated course syllabi, delivered lectures in classes ranging from 60-800 students, and designed and managed course websites. Over four and a half years, she consistently received evaluation scores from her students above both the university and the departmental.
