Land Coordinator
CurrentAssist in managing land-related activities from acquisition to entitlement and development. Continued support throughout post-development of a project with HOA management and assistance in organizing multiple departments for successful community launches. - Assist in performing research and analysis of market and project feasibility. Track contract deadlines, establish project timelines, conduct due diligence research, and coordinate the closing process. - Monitoring and managing budgets related to land acquisition and entitlement activities by tracking expenses throughout the project. - Coordinate with local authorities, consultants, and internal teams to secure necessary permits and approvals for land use and development, such as preliminary plat, land disturbance plan, and final plat.- Aid in the development of a community from the initial planning through completion and handover to the project managers and building department.- Support project managers in activities related to launching new communities. This entitles task management of all departments' action items necessary to launch a new community successfully. Establish the HOA of all communities by initiating the CC&Rs, Bylaws, and pro formas. - Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation related to land transactions, due diligence, permits, contracts, and other relevant information. This helps in ensuring transparency and compliance throughout the department. - Communicate effectively with external vendors, contractors, and consultants involved in land acquisition, entitlement, and development processes. Draft, review, and manage all contracts related to vendors and proposals. Ensure all vendors are paid in a timely manner. - Maintain a database of developers, small builders, and other key players in the home building community to market for land buying opportunities. Create a dynamic marketing schedule for continued contact with the database.
