I have a Bachelor of Developmental Education, an Advanced Diploma in Training Design and Development, a Diploma in Management of Community Services, and a Certificate IV in Mental Health, I bring a wealth of experience and leadership to the disability and developmental education sectors.I have successfully developed and managed a team of 12 behaviour practitioners across South Australia and provided supervision for Developmental Educators (DEs) nationwide. My leadership experience extends to the management and development of a state-based Supported Independent Living (SIL) provider, overseeing a team of 140 employees and managing $18 million in services. I am driven by a desire to find opportunities for business growth that maximise client satisfaction and development. My work focuses on developing a deep understanding of an individual’s current circumstances, skill sets, and environment to drive positive behavioural changes and skill development. Passionate about cognitive development, designing approaches that align an individual’s cognitive abilities with their physical age. My hands-on, practical strategies are focused on achieving positive outcomes and empowerment, enhancing future opportunities for individuals with disabilities directly through their environments and support networks.
