As Quality Champion, I conduct regular audits on projects, ensuring that Project Managers are following both internal and external project and programme governance policies and frameworks. My auditor tasks contribute to the compliance with our current governance structure, however, through my additional lessons learnt workshop facilitation, I also contribute to the continuous improvement of our governance policies and framework. Each lesson or improvement that is captured feeds into the continuous improvement of our organisation's methodology, policies, and procedures for delivering projects and services for Defence.

As Project Delivery Services (PDS) Western Australia (WA) Portfolio Lead at Aurecon, I lead a team of 10 Project Managers delivering a portfolio of projects within the Estate Works Program (EWP) for the Department of Defence. The EWP provides facilities maintenance aimed at sustaining capability on the Defence Estate. I am responsible for ensuring the team delivers the portfolio efficiently and sustainably, whilst meeting the client objectives and value expectations.

As a PDS Project Manager within the Estate Works Program (EWP) I managed a portfolio of 8-10 active projects at any given time across the Defence Estate. I managed these projects throughout scope and feasibility, design and then through to construction. These projects are multi-disciplinary and cover a range of sustaining capability works.

I was employed by Aurecon to undertake Project Administration tasks for the Defence Capital Facilities and Infrastructure (CFI) team. Within this role I would undertake tasks such as minute taking, tender board scribing, tender board report writing, payment claim processing, RFI processing and general document management.

Within the role of Legal Secretary, I supported three lawyers, one being the partner of the firm. During this time, I would draft and collate legal documents for filing in the court, undertake personal assistant tasks for the Lawyers including (but not limited to) client communications, schedule coordination and monthly invoicing. This role is where I began to embed high quality communication, coordination, and client management skills.
