Working closely with the Head of International Sourcing, I leverage my supplier and industry contacts and ongoing commitment to efficiency to maximise commercial opportunities through effective product sourcing, management of the Far East supply base and support of the UK commercial teams. Key Achievements: *Adaptive Leadership & Process Improvement: Initiated the end-to-end redesign of sourcing processes in mid-2019, over a year before company-wide business transformation initiatives were undertaken. Using an open leadership style, built a cross-functional team and empowered them to improve the process as they saw fit, resulting in an aligned approach, simplified reporting leading to a reduction in lead time of approx 20%. This has since been adopted as a best practice across all three directorates, Home, Fashion and Technology.*People Focused: Defined and implemented a joint long-term vision outside my direct leadership remit which enabled strategic problem solving across the Global Sourcing business. Successful projects include an office renovation, leading and initiating workshops and building relationships that increased collaboration and broke down silos. Seazon Pacific is a Trading Company and Brand owner focused on the US and European Market with factories in China. Oversaw all aspects of sourcing and product development for denim, woven, jersey and knit products for in house brands and business partners. Also responsible for identifying new opportunities by following trends and implementing range enhancements.Key Achievements:* Increased and improved supplier base resulting in increased margins and quality. * Worked closely with sales and merchandising teams to develop new products and grew revenue.* Improved fabric sourcing and sample/wash development process which was adopted company wide. * Developed an evaluation, orientation and training process for new suppliers and regular performance reviews of existing suppliers.* Created forward sourcing plans using a deep understanding of supplier abilities and customer needs.Expanded the internal brand across two new markets, opened new sales channels, improved revenue. Key Achievements:* Set up woven Product Development for the Hong Kong office and coached teams to meet each brand's quality, aesthetics and costing requirements. * Managed all direct Product Development business in China, built a growth strategy with the Senior Category Manager. * Reorganised the team, implemented new processes, and shifted production to improve efficiency, reduce costs and improve margins and workmanship.
