I am an interdisciplinary theatre maker raised in California and currently based in London, with full working permissions through Indefinite Leave to Remain status.My artistic mission is to build worlds that explore the intimacy of human experience against the backdrop of global upheaval, migration, and change. I am one half of the performance duo emma + pj and a proud co-creator of work with young people, most recently at New Diorama Theatre, Andy's Summer Playhouse, and The Yard Theatre. I was a Barbican Centre Open Lab resident artist for 2021/22 and The Spring Play Artist in Residence for 2022, and was nominated for the 2019 Total Theatre Award in Innovation, Experimentation, and Playing with Form for THE ACCIDENT DID NOT TAKE PLACE. Current touring projects include GHOSTS OF THE NEAR FUTURE (★★★★ "a sure-fire cult Fringe hit" The Scotsman, ★★★★ "one of the most exciting, interesting works at the festival" The Stage, now published with Bloomsbury UK/Methuen Drama) and THE SPIRIT OF HAVANT SPRING.
