These projects include “Tigers and Sparrows,” written and directed by Aidan Blain & Jonathan Green (2022), and “Shabbos,” written and directed by Asa Turok (2024).

I am a teaching assistant for the course Introduction to Literature: Fantastic Places, Unhuman Humans, taught through the National Education Equity Lab, in Spring 2024. Brown University and the National Education Equity Lab partner to offer Brown University courses to eligible high schools across the country and students from our nation’s most underserved communities to earn academic college credit while in high school. I engage students in synchronous discussions, hold weekly office hours, and grade student work, as part of a national community working to advance education equity. I assist Professor Jim Egan in the course, which examines the ways that humans have been imagined through literature. Teaching Fellows are Brown advanced undergraduate or graduate students who teach in areas in which they have developed expertise from the course structure designed by the faculty instructor. Fellows are required to meet weekly with a co-teacher (teacher from a partner high school depending), meet weekly with faculty instructor and other teaching fellows, hold weekly online office hours, and teach online weekly to 30-40 high school students. While a Teaching Fellow is viewed by students as an instructional resource, I am not responsible for creating a syllabus, designing and delivering course content independent of the instructor, or creating individual class modules and lecturers.

With the committee's Drama Producer, I oversaw the production of the Society's Term 2 fiction short film. Coordinating the allocation of a wide range of resources to finance and stage the project, I produced the only term film during my time at UCL within the society: a large-scale production with a substantial budget allowance.

The largest student-run film organization in the Ivy League, Brown Motion Pictures oversees the production of four to five films every semester; as a Head of Production, I am a member of the Executive Board, in which we routinely meet to select the semester's scripts, assemble crews, troubleshoot production issues, and coordinate the premiere. I have overseen and organized the production of several student short films in my position thus far.

Members are passionate about finding ways for students to engage in conversations about all aspects of film & TV. They stay up to date with new releases, reach out to potential speakers for workshops and panels, coordinate with production companies for screenings, track film and TV news, moderate Q&As, help with guest travel arrangements, and serve as points of contact between IFF and entertainment professionals.

As an Emerging Talent Associate at Warner Music Group in Los Angeles, specifically on the Global Commercial Accounts Team for Apple Music in WMX, I have worked on and been exposed to many projects and tasks. I manage the metadata for Apple Music's Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio Initiative for new and catalog releases. In addition, I supervise various weekly tasks for new releases, streaming, and pre-adds. I also upload lyrics for all labels, manage weekly hitlist tasks, and curate Apple Music's Fitness+ playlist for Warner Music's submissions, as well as miscellaneous tasks that vary on a daily or weekly basis.

Working on a small team for an independent film company, I fully supported TCP's PR strategy and executed it in different phases by communicating and building relationships with current and prospective clients. I also aided in the creation and distribution of press releases, while assisting in administrative duties. My main responsibility was to build and update the company's media lists and databases, which I increased tenfold during my time there. I also performed weekly research and market analysis activities.

Working within the IMG Strategic Partnerships team, I aligned with the departmental goals in assembling proposals of new categories and brands to include in outreach, while identifying gaps in the current partnership portfolio. I analysed existing sponsors and identified opportunities for upselling additional packages, gaining hands-on experience with project management and onsite operations for sponsors. I was responsible for several onsite activation elements at Big Feastival, overseeing my own smaller accounts, ensuring they ran smoothly and that partners were satisfied. I developed an acute understanding of post-event analysis and was able to demonstrate ROI to my team and then to our partnering brands to ensure renewal. Pre-event, I created a summary of all partner activations to measure success onsite, and post-event, I collated results, working with the account management team to translate these into a debrief document.

I prepare expense reports; follow up to ensure expense reports are submitted on timely basis. I assist in reviewing contracts and prepare summaries, and with different marketing strategies of clients, prepare target lists, and make cold calls. I am also responsible for various departmental duties as assigned.

I am conducting an independent research project on Islamophobia and media bias in the United States and the United Kingdom, with a secondary focus on the psychological effects of mischaracterization. Abou El Fadl, the Omar and Azmeralda Alfi Distinguished Professor in Islamic Law, at the UCLA School of Law and Dr. Dina Ibrahim, Professor of Broadcast & Electronic Communication Arts, at San Francisco State University.

Violets' Giving Circle is a student-initiated, donor-advised charitable fund made up of a board of ten high school juniors and ten high school seniors. It is a two-year position that alternates years between fundraising and grant-making. I was named Head of Collateral for the 2019-2020 cycle, which is a granting year.

I interviewed local leaders, participated in site visits, and participated in challenging small group projects that allowed me to engage with local stakeholders.

I helped plan and execute the unveiling of the new, Frank Gehry-designed building for the Youth Division of the LA Philharmonic in the heart of Inglewood and learned the intricacies of civil government by shadowing different office members and attending weekly council meetings.
