Rockridge is the primary imprint of Callisto Media, a data-driven nonfiction publisher. The company is best known for its specialized cookbooks and health titles, many of which are tied to specific diets (e.g. alkaline, keto, paleo), appliances (Dutch ovens, slow cookers), and health conditions (diabetes, Hashimoto’s disease). As Art Director I lead the concept, design, and execution of user–responsive book covers and interiors. I adhered to fast-paced schedules while upholding high standards of design My design responsibilities included: initial concept exploration, interior template design, long-form layout design, cover/jacket design, social media asset design, building creative briefs, providing art direction to illustrators/photographers/compositors, submitting designs for approval in a stakeholder environment.
