As part of a small design team alongside other interns, we had to adapt to the challenges of COVID -19 through remote working. Throughout my placement, I was involved in several aspects of the design process from initial research and ideation through to CAD, prototyping and visualisation. This enabled me to gain insights into the design process in the industry and to apply the skills gathered in my studies. The success of remote working led to continued part-time work with the company throughout my final year.
