My carrier at n-Side has been dedicated to the steel (extended recently to metals) industry. Along with the various projects of SCOOP implementations and strategic consulting missions, I gathered an important knowledge of the production process (coke making, sintering, iron making, steel making and downstream processes) as well as the decision process (collaboration with C-level about high value strategic decisions).The main challenges I have been used to tackle are related to: - trade-off breaking (usually quality versus cost) - raw material evaluation - cost and profit analysisby using quantitative methods and optimization.Following my own evolution inside the company, I participated, then lead, then supervised all the projects in the steel industry all around the world (Europe, South America and Asia). In addition to the business development and the products roadmap definition, I was leading a team of consultants and senior consultants.The main activities as manager were: - representation of n-Side in Brazil - brazilian office management - leading pre-sales meetings - market analysis and strategy definition - contract negotiation - commercial prospection (farming and hunting) - maintaining SCOOP roadmap - HR activities, including recruiting consultants
