Believe it or not, I found my professional purpose in the first semester of my under graduation program. Not only that but when I graduated I also found the ideal partners with similar goals: We bring rationality to complex decision-making through the use of Advanced Analytics mainly Mathematical Optimization.I have, now, over 10 years of researching and applying Operations Research in the Americas and Europe in more than eight countries. I have worked with different industries (steelmaking, foundry, mining, and ceramics) supporting tactical and strategic decisions.I’m a proud alumnus of the first class of the BRAFITEC’s double degree agreement between UFMG (Brazil) and ISIMA (France). We, as a unified group, actively participated in the closure of the partnership. As a result of the program, I have a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (UFMG), a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Decision Support (ISIMA), and a master’s degree in Computer Science with an emphasis on Models and Algorithms for Decision Support (Université Blaise Pascal).Today, at Cassotis Consulting, I manage a very passionate and effective team. We are together applying, learning, spreading optimization concepts, and bringing great value to our business partners.
