I volunteered as a teaching assistant during my second year of university in Brighton, helping mainly a Year 4 class but also reception children. My main duties were helping the teacher during the school day by assisting the children, answering questions, and completing general admin. On top of this I also read to the children and helped with the reception class during their science fair. This role sharpened my organisation, confidence, and communication skills.
