I am a highly engaging, consultative cybersecurity professional with extensive experience across Public Sector and International organisations across Europe. Extremely focused on doing the right thing and achieving the best outcomes for those I work with. I believe some of the most important skills one can apply to business are those which are natural to us and have developed from childhood. These are the skills that ultimately define and shape us throughout our lives and careers. When I was younger one of my favourite books was "Back home" by Michelle Magorian, this book was all about change and adaptability: the leading character was a girl who had been evacuated to the US during the Second World War, only to have to return home (a changed person) to a totally different environment. To understand that things change and to be prepared to adjust behaviour, attitude and response to that change is so important. Change leads us to new opportunities and being adaptable means it is possible to see the advantage of a new assignment/location/social situation much quicker than to be afraid of trying something unknown. I have always been fascinated by maps, they entice us to what to learn and see more. It's amazing that it's possible to take some basic information on a page and translate that information into a 3 dimensional coastline or a mountain range.
