Lead a team of developers to build an e-commerce platform for private health insurance exchanges. This platform was successfully implemented and deployed for many major health insurers in tandem with the public health insurance exchange, healthcare.gov.

Primarily implemented a new web application from the ground up. This application allowed users to create and design custom web 2.0 "widgets" similar to Google gadgets on a personalized Google homepage.

• Java Swing integration with.NET speech recognition platform M*Modal.
• Redesigned and implemented report dictation and workflow management application for aforementioned project.
• Initiated as well as lead design and implementation of "Nighthawk Domains" project - a cross-platform object library to promote code reuse and design simplicity.
• Lead contributor to "Nighthawk Commons" project. Specifically widely adopted "GlazedControls" package - a collection of Java Swing controls that combined SwingX and GlazedLists projects.
• Designed and implemented additional management and reporting tools for Scheduling application. Aspects include capacity reports, volume reports, work efficiency reports, and team management.
• Lead team in designing and implementing client-server active caching system for Scheduling application. This project reduced application startup time by 98% (~10 minutes reduced to ~10 seconds).
