Currently, Christopher serves as the digital strategist at Workers Defense. Together with organizers in cities across Texas, he helps support and uplift local and state-wide campaigns that empower hard-working Texans. Previously, Christopher worked in Washington, DC for Voto Latino, a pioneering civic media organization that promotes and advocates for the Latino vote through innovative digital campaigns. There he managed the organization's online voice and brand.In the 2016 political election cycle, he served as the Digital Communications Strategist for Texas State Representative Victoria Neave. The campaign ousted a Republican incumbent with a margin of fewer than 900 votes. The race was the most competitive and expensive House race in Texas.Earlier, he worked with advocacy organizations and candidates seeking office ranging from school board to Congress as an organizer.In 2015 he was elected North Texas LULAC District Director and became the youngest person to serve in this position in the organization's history. The district helps 35 counties with over 30 councils and 800-plus members. In North Texas, LULAC has served the community through numerous community programs including, voter registration drives, scholarship awards, educational forums, professional and leadership development, and community representation.He has also served as a board member of the Southeast Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as the communication chair. He advised the board president on how to appeal to emerging millennial entrepreneurs.In 2014 he was elected LULAC National Young Man of the Year by his peers, and in 2016 he was named one of twenty Millenials to Watch by the Dallas Weekly Newspaper.
