As a project team member I worked for the Managing Agent (Arcadis). My main tasks could be found in assisting the Control & Security manager with the optimization of the operational tunnel management in the region of Schiphol Airport. I also helped developing a training program for the incident management organization of the Managing Agent and I assisted other team members with their work. The project concerns: the 'Waterwolftunnel and Amstel Aquaduct which are situated between Hoofddorp and Mijdrecht on N201, an important provincial highway in the Netherlands; and the 'Abdijtunnel' which is situated between Schiphol and Hoofddorp, and is used in order to provide a high frequency bus connection in the southern region of Amsterdam.
