Yamal LNG Plant Project

 Reporting to the QA/QC Manager in day to day progress of work. To review contract documents to identify quality requirements, ensure the quality system is implemented and maintained, monitor, inspect and report on all mechanical WA to ensure compliance with specifications. Monitoring of above and under ground welding operations. Checking welding parameters.  Checking that correct WPS is in use. Checking of pipe bevels/joint fit up. Checking equipment installations. Painting and Coating Inspection. Preparation of Method Statements, Procedures, Work Instructions Visual inspection of completed welds. NDE - RT, PT and MT inspection of completed welds. Monitoring of pipeline front-end welding activities. Checking of pipe bevel irregularities/damage and joint set-up prior to welding. Checking that welding parameters are in accordance with WPS. Checking the condition of welding electrodes. Monitoring of tie-in / special crossing / repair welding, hot-tap activities as above.  Monitoring of pipe stringing activities to ensure correct support and coating protection.  Monitoring post weld heat treatment activities (PWHT) Monitoring of pipe bending activities. To observe the requirements of applicable inspection and test plans and to sign off such plans and associated checklists in accordance with predetermined intervention annotations.

 Coordination with Consultant QA/QC for the field-testing and obtain approvals. Implementation of Mechanical services drawings and architects drawing involving MEP, HVAC, and Insulation etc. Coordinating with Quality Assurance/Quality Control department for daily inspections as per Inspection and Test Plan and as per contract conditions including issuance of requests for inspection and coordination and management of all the site inspection and test at work Installation of MEP Building Services in accordance with the Contract Specifications and drawings in accordance with BSTM, ANSI. Slab openings as per builders work and HVAC drawing. Shop drawing submittal and approval of ducting and chilled water piping drawing. Erecting of ducting like fresh air, supply air, return air, toilet & kitchen exhaust air ducts as per approved shop drawing by consultants. Erection of chilled water piping like supply and return with rubber insulation and cladding as per consultant. Testing and commissioning of all ducts and chilled water pipes and pumps. Submittal and approval of material and equipment as per specification. Monitoring site store, assuring safe storage and handling of site material. Installation of chiller, FAHU, AHU, FCU, chilled water pumps as per the installation detail and as per site condition. Monitoring the Mechanical scope of works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual. Coordinating and supervising the work of all Mechanical activities and operations. Reviewing the contractor’s project record documents relevant to their discipline. Assisting with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing,commissioning and handover of the Mechanical works. Follow-up CARs. Responsibilities:  Reporting to the QA/QC Manager in day to day progress of work. Ensuring response to necessary construction documentation, including but not limitedto review of shop drawings, RFIs, and material submittals. Managing the efforts of the Mechanical inspectors to ensure all documentation that is reviewed is than properly translated into a constructed product which meets requirements and specifications. Ability to review and comment properly on necessary documentation. Monitoring the Mechanical scope of works for conformance with the provisions of thecontract documents and the procedures manual. Reviewing, approving and processing all Mechanical technical submittals. Answering RFI’s related to Mechanical. Coordinating and supervising the work of all Mechanical activities and operations. Reviewing contractor’s Mechanical change order proposals and preparingrecommendations to MEP PM. Liaison with the necessary sub consultants. Reviewing contractors claims related to Mechanical works and preparingrecommendations for claims. Reviewing the contractor’s project record documents relevant to their discipline. Managing the Mechanical inspectors. Analyzing laboratory and testing reports. Assisting with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing,commissioning and handover of the Mechanical works. Signing off on completed Mechanical works with completed documentation. Perform all other duties given by Project Director & QA/QC Manager.

Coordinating with trainers & following them. Coordinating with site staffs to specify, select, install, and manage the maintenance of factors production & machinery.Setup work control systems e.g. testing of equipment to make sure that standard of performance, quality, cost & safety are met.Carrying out studies about possible changes or improvements and estimating the cost of products.
