I manage and maintain all records for our inventory. I perform an annual inventory of all of our equipment and computers. I serve as the procurement officer, following State of Texas and University procedures for purchasing. I maintain records and mileage logs for 3 passenger vehicles and 1 research vessel. I coordinate all shipping, domestic and international, and I work closely with customs agents to ensure prompt, safe, and legal exporting and importing of our Geophysical equipment. I serve on a Fire and Safety Committee for the Jackson School of Geosciences. I process student tuition payments. I also observe the physical condition of the building and serve as the liaison with campus wide Facilities employees. I've also completed over 40 hours of training with certified FileMaker Developers and am the FM Database Administrator for our department. I maintain our Proposal, Staff, and Travel Databases.
