In my 4+ years of working in the Food and Beverage industry, I have acquired many important skills ranging from customer satisfaction to conflict resolution. Although I had started from the bottom, I learned the value of a hard day's work and how it can lead to many opportunities. These opportunities allowed me to gain valuable experience in areas such as leadership and opened my eyes to the strategic use of social media for marketing.I now work in Human Resources for Shelter House where I seek to identify high-quality talent to serve those experiencing homelessness. With my 2+ years of experience working as an Emergency Shelter Coordinator, I am well-equipped to identify the qualities and experiences in individuals that make for kind, helpful, and dedicated staff members. At Shelter House, we all perform necessary functions in order to provide essential services to our community and the individuals we seek to help by improving their quality of life and helping them transition beyond homelessness.
