When I was a child, I constantly was drawing; making some kind of art. I always thought, "I want to be an artist when I grow up". I continued to think this way into my teenage years. Those years have come and gone. Getting into late teens and early twenties, when I was still indecisive on what career path I wanted to venture on, I realized that just "drawing" might not pay my bills. So I thought of another thing that I loved to do as a child: surf the web. I decided to combine the two and doing so made me realize that web design strongly appealed to me. I have been doing design and development for nearly three years and have grown out of the beginner/novice stage, but haven't yet blossomed into the expert level. I greatly enjoy what I do, and so do the people and companies that I create websites for. I am pretty fluent when it comes to HTML and CSS and have began to be able to pick apart pieces of java, javascript, PHP, etc., but am still learning the ropes when it comes to languages. I am exceptional at incorporating jQuery into my websites for striking and smooth visual animations and effects, and I try to use some sort of jQuery effect in most of my websites. I am fluent in Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop and am self-taught in every aspect of web design and development. I would have to say that the best part of my job is that I continue to learn every single day, but still am excited for the future when I can say, "I know it all".
