Provide mentorship to adults from underrepresented groups or those making career transitions starting their tech journey.

I supervise the Data Validation Unit, which is responsible for ensuring the validity of both internal data reporting and reporting to external stakeholders. In that role, I am responsible for preparing and assigning samples for both face validity checks and underlying data validation to MDFCS Data Validators. I provide quality assurance for Data Validator findings and prepare monthly Data Quality Reports. I assist with identifying programmatic and logical inconsistencies in reporting, and suggest solutions to these issues. I also assist with identification of areas of agency practice to target for improvement efforts.

I coordinate the Teen Advisory Board, an advocacy and leadership development board for young adults in foster care. I also administer the Education and Training Voucher program for the state and supervise Independent Living retreats. I have designed and implemented the current Teen Advisory Board program.

I provide training and support for foster youth ages 14-21 in south Mississippi to help them transition into productive and successful adults.
