To create a safe environment where clients can explore their feelings of past and present pain and start to find healing through discovering their identity in Christ.MY STORY: Hello, my name is Eric Burden. I am a young professional who has a heart for the brokenhearted. I considered it a privilege to have the opportunity to walk with my client’s healing journey. I am currently pursuing my calling to become a Mental Health Counselor. I am a master’s student at Liberty University, where I am a student in the School of Counseling Education and Family Studies. With every class, I discovered how much I am created for the role of a counselor. I am drawn to people’s stories. Hearing others' stories helps me see inside their hearts. I had an opportunity to walk with others and hear their stories through my experience in Celebrate Recovery. Coming from a broken place, I grew into a role in serving others by leading small share groups and 12-step groups to holding a primary leadership role. COACHING | TRAINING | LIFE ACCOMPLISHMENTS:Through my training at Liberty University, I am gaining the tools and skills need to take great care for my future clients. Learning how to culturally aware of my clients as be a highlight of my educational journey. I practice this skill today. As a result, from my education and experiences I am passionate for clients:
