About Eric Burns

I have over 9 years of experience engineering custom chassis for fire and emergency vehicles. I am currently responsible for the production of air systems, fuel systems, frame assemblies, suspensions, wheels, and tires at Pierce Manufacturing. This is a long list of responsibilities but it is what I enjoy the most about my job, multi-tasking. I work closely with manufacturing and sales: With manufacturing, I trouble shoot issues on the production line, analyze those issues to find out the root cause, and eliminate them from happening in the future. With sales, I provide technical knowledge to guide the customers to make the right selection of chassis components for their custom vehicle.
