I spent seven years in an engineering role establishing Microsoft’s presence in the enterprise management and monitoring space. I created a prototype and pitched the idea directly to Bill Gates in order to get it funded. I received several patent awards for the ideas I implemented. I was part of a team responsible for C++ object-oriented design of next generation electronic chip design editors and tools. Also handled printing/plotting and file import/export of graphics and data. This C++ effort was one of the largest at the time. My work involved the user interface, and a data layer to retrieve display and edit waveforms for circuit simulation. Also worked on general CAE tools and VHDL.

Greater Seattle Area

This project was of Top Secret classification at the time - Cruise missile and B1 Bomber. I wrote assembly code for microprocessor control of real time flight systems. Wrote code for VAX mini-computers to simulate flight conditions for onboard instruments.
