Missile Warning Analyst

Serves as a technical specialist for U.S. Army Space Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT), 1st Space Brigade operations related to space-based missile warning. Is recognized within the Army and joint community as an expert in the understanding of how U.S. Army space-based missile warning systems contribute to Army and joint mission needs. Responsible for planning, performing, directing, interfacing, coordinating and/or controlling the efforts of contractors, consultants and other government agencies engaged in the identification, concept development, analysis, evaluation and integration of Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership, Organizations, Personnel, Facilities (DOTMLPF) solutions involving current and future 1st Space Brigade missile warning systems and operations. Plans and conducts research and analysis of 1st Space Brigade missile warning operations; determines their effectiveness within the framework of cost, technical risk, performance, threat, relevance to Army and United States Strategic Command space and missile warning objectives
