Project FinancingPreparation for profit forecast and cash flow forecast to be presented to bankers for project financing application. The profit and cash flow forecast based on information provided by project team and quantity surveyor team. Liaise with banker continuously during the application process by providing the bankers with all relevant information for the project financing process and negotiating the terms and conditions of financing with the bankers. Upon bankers’ approval of financing, presenting and recommending the best bankers offer to the Board of Directors for approval. Follow through the financing legal documentation until financing drawdown commenced. Continue to monitor the project financing flow until completion of the project. Financial Reporting Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the group of companies (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions). Managing the group's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems. Liaise with company’s statutory auditor, secretarial agent and financial professionals to ensure compliance with all finance-related laws e.g. timely submission of audited financial report to Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia and other authorities. Tax Compliance To ensure the Company and our related companies comply with Income Tax Act, 1967, Service Tax Act, 2018 and all other relevant taxes. To monitor the annual income tax return in time, submission of annual income tax payable estimate, timely revision of the tax estimate and in full compliance with the Act by liaise closely with Company’s tax agent. To ensure proper financial records are kept for tax purposes and all taxes are paid promptly. To ensure our service tax return for our restaurant business is submitted to The Royal Custom of Malaysia in time, records are properly kept and payment promptly paid. Involved in the group’s transfer pricing (TP) documents with the co-operation of external tax consultant. Monitoring inter-companies transactions within the group to ensure compliance with the arm’s length principal of Transfer Pricing Guideline issued by Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia.
