A core area of focus is the identification and implementation of technology such as IoT and customer facing web portals to provide efficiencies and optimization to clients. Most recently I have been a key component and driver in the harmonization of the product and service catalogue to combine two, multi billion dollar businesses.

Control all aspects of M/LWD services while drilling. Focus fields include the Austin Chalk, Eagle Ford Shale and Permian basin. In charge of maintaining M/LWD equipment and presenting survey and log data to clients.

Coordinate product commercialization with R&D, manufacturing, operations and international sales as part of the drilling services product launch group. Present to districts and clients across the globe to increase visibility of new products and drive revenue. Oversee development of training, core competencies, R&M documentation, and marketing material to bring new products to market and maximize profitability. Provide continuous global support through field testing, district tool launch, and client follow-ups.Highlights:I was able to bring new technology from field testing to several jobs per month and millions in revenue. I also played an integral part in landing a contract to double the rig count for one client over the next two years. My work included being the technical expert for the Drilling Services marketing group assisting in the creation and editing of all marketing material and technical papers. Worked with and assisted petrophysicists, geosteering engineers and geologists for log analysis, real-time dip picking, and completions optimization. I was published in JPT, EAGE, and Harts E&P and assisted with approval of formation evaluation core competency training decisions.

Assist in the development of new software/firmware/tools and test how they perform together for use in the field as LWD technology. Responsible for the integration testing of multiple sensors including directional, imaging, and EM products. Provide on-site training and supervision for operational support on new drilling technology as the acting subject matter expert. Develop marketing material, operational procedures, and end of well reports to aide in the growth of new products.

Supervise, maintain, and direct LWD tools on rig sites. This includes rig-up and rig-down of appropriate sensors and logging unit, preparation of drilling logs, and collaborating with company representatives, directional drillers, geologists and rig crew to perform the appropriate job efficiently without error. Responsible for all aspects of Weatherford's LWD drilling service while on site. Provided training to new field engineers during work on active drilling rigs.
