Grandhood is a Danish venture-backed SaaS fintech startup that launched in 2019 providing a simple, all digital company pension to small businesses and their employees, an underserved and under-saving segment of society (restgruppen). Velliv, DK's 3rd largest pension company, took a substantial stake in 2020. As a “C” level manager, I've been active in many areas of the business.Key Responsibilities & Achievements• Designed, built and managed a lifecycle investment portfolio using low-cost, ESG-friendly ETFs• Developed the company’s Go-To-Market and International roll-out strategies• Built a set of analytical tools to measure and understand key drivers in the customer journey (KPIs, CAC/CLTV, conversion rates, churn, etc.)• Analyzed the competitor landscape in DK and EU and conducted market segmentation to better focus our marketing and sales efforts• In charge of key “Must Win” projects in the marketing and sales areas• Helped the founders with fundraising (pitch deck & approaching potential investors)

* Tactical Asset Allocation: I led the TAA process, recommending investments using an active philosophy in taking positions across various asset classes (e.g. +Equities vs. -HY Credit) as well as within asset classes (e.g. +EM vs. -DM equities) using inputs from valuation, macro, technicals, event risks, etc.* Strategic Asset Allocation: central role in the strategic portfolio construction and management of AP’s 3 main product groups (Guarantee, Market Rate & AP Stabil)* New Product Development: I was one of the primary architects of AP Stabil, an innovative product that blends average rate and market rate. I have managed the allocation of AP Stabil with a balanced income fund approach investing in bonds, equities, credit, and alternative assets, as well as having opportunistic tactical bets in FX, bond and equity derivatives

* Responsible for the asset allocation between bonds, equities and credit for the DKK 45bn SP/ATP Invest funds* SP Payout: after the government announced SP payout option in 2009, I was made responsible for all asset management related issues for this event* Set up, with a colleague, the Alpha team Global Interest Rates (one of eight internal ATP hedge funds)* Responsible for actively managing two short-end DK bond portfolios with DKK 8bn. Consistent 5 star Morningstar rating for Kort bond fund (1st out of 27 funds in DK for 2007)
