With over 15 years of experience as an Educator/Instructional Designer at The Los Angeles Film School, I have taught and developed multimedia curriculum, covering topics such as studio recording, live sound, electronics, computer maintenance, technology, and troubleshooting. I have also led on-campus, online, and hybrid classroom environments, using modern techniques and pedagogical strategies to accommodate various learning styles and student needs.I have a Master of Arts degree in New Media Journalism, which enables me to create informative, engaging, and interactive content. I accomplish this while using journalistic AP style writing, storytelling and fact-checking abilities. My writing style is dependent on the type of media I am producing, such as press releases, speeches, blogs, advertisements, crisis communications, etc. I’m also a published poet and lyricist. I am well-versed with audio/video recording and editing procedures, photography, infographics, CRMs, web design, social media, SEO, and analytics.I am also a Live Event Specialist, running sound and visuals for performers and companies in various venues, setting up equipment, operating both front of house and monitor systems, as well as troubleshooting and repairing faults.
