My interest and expertise lies in the areas of subsurface fluid mobility, geomechanics, and core analysis. Throughout my research, I have delved into the realms of carbon sequestration and conventional reservoir analysis. The core focus of my experimental and simulation work has been to assess how stress and rock type influence the flow of various sub-surface fluids.

My research focused on diverse areas, including the growth of hydraulic fractures, acidizing in the context of polyaxial stress contrasts, and the unitilization of a triaxial loadframe for novela nd traditional geoemechinical testing.

I have extensive experience in hydraulic fracturing and rock fluid interactions, having conducted over 50 large-scale polyaxial laboratory experiments with a team. My work includes co-authoring more than ten technical publications covering high-resolution core characterization, hydraulic fracturing, and acoustic emissions.My work also includes developing and implementing an automated core XRF unit, streamlining core analysis processes. During a two-month drilling rotation in Mexico, I gained valuable insights into overall well site operations, enhancing my expertise.My passion for research and innovation led me to develop a Brinell Hardness test for drilling fluid interaction on core samples and create a fluid sensitivity test using the SLB/TerraTek scratch machine, measuring UCS strength relative to fluid exposure.
