Eric Friedman is chairman and CEO of Edward Holdings LLC, a capital investment and business consulting company with a portfolio of companies in the startup and early-stage development phase. He also is chairman and CEO of E.D. Edwards Consulting, a firm which serves the government sector. The companies in which Friedman invests are often those that take an innovative approach toward achieving their goals; many are focused in the area of social responsibility. Friedman also provides advisory services. • Hemisphere Corporation, a prominent Brownfield redeveloper and think-tank, where Friedman is an investor and plays a prominent advisory role.Friedman built his career from the ground up, beginning in government and real estate.. In 1988, he launched his own strategy and operations consulting company and operated it for 11 years before selling it to Deloitte Consulting in 1999. At Deloitte, Friedman served as a principal in the public sector practice. During his tenure, he led the program management office for Deloitte's Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) services. He also served the firm's Diversity and Inclusion initiative; the National Sustainability & Climate Change Community of Practice; the Center for Health Solutions initiative, a healthcare policy think tank; and the federal and state government relations groups.
