Prepare and implement NRC regulatory required training for commercial Nuclear Licensed Operators to maintain Reactor Operator (RO) and Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) position qualifications. Ensure the Licensed Operators maintain all federal legal requirements as well as maintaining operating proficiency to protect the health and safety of the public. Training and testing completed in various venues; including classroom, remote virtual classroom, in-plant job performance measurement, control room simulator and others. Maintain training qualification through rigorous requalification training and testing.

Act as a federally licensed decision-making authority at a dual-unit nuclear generating station. Serve as a legal authority verifying that all safety related components, systems and structures meet the requirements specified in the plant operating license technical specifications. Provide instruction and guidance to operations personnel to ensure plant operations are conducted in an effective, safe, and consistent manner in accordance with the operating license, plant procedures, regulatory requirements, and established standards. Supervise, control and coordinate maintenance, testing activities and plant evolutions with an emphasis on safety, adherence to established regulations and standards of performance.

Generation Systems Engineer:Responsible for the Hydrogen Water Chemistry, GE Zinc Injection Process (GEZip), Water Treatment Plant, Cooling Tower Chemistry Chemistry equipment. Back-up to Deep Bed Demin, Condensate Filter Demins, Feedwater, Main Condenser, Circ Water and Water Diversion systems.-Experienced in the operation and maintenance of vacuum pumps, steam jet air ejectors, large pumps and motors, and process control systems.-Revised and created system operating procedures to improve startup sequences and decrease the likelihood of operator errors.Significant accomplishments include the following:-Completed Plant equipment upgrade for DFWLC and replaced the aging analog system with latest digital technology.-Completed Noble Metals Chemical Addition on both reactor vessels to prevent IGSCC in conjunction with HWC.-Reconfigured Zinc Injection skid and components to increase reliability and minimize down time and eliminate potential for injection of oil into reactor vessel.
