Taught various levels of Calculus and Trigonometry classes

I developed and taught the class "Design of Precision Machines" at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology in Moscow, Russia, through the MIT-Skoltech program. The class covered modeling, control, and design. Students built and controlled a working precision writing machine using voice coil actuators.

For masters work I developed a novel thermally-actuated safety valve for offshore oil wells. I machined stainless steel prototype and tested with temperature-controlled fluid. Three patents have been awarded so far for my work. For PhD I developed a control strategy for underwater robots that rely on lossy acoustic communication. I did tests on autonomous kayaks in the Charles River and on a small robotic surface vehicle in an indoor pool

I worked on the design of the Mars Student Climate Lander, a probe to be sent to Mars to collect climate data.

I sawed trees out of trails, built bridges and waterbars, and built rock steps.
