I have been, and still am currently, a CNC technician supervisor for Bedrock Quartz for the past 4 years and love it! Bedrock has been a great fit for me and I only have good things to say. I am directly responsible for managing the schedule, operation of machines, maintenance of machines, and quality control of my department while coordinating with the other departments within the shop. One of Bedrock Quartz's core values is innovation. I am very proud and fortunate enough to work with my direct manager in developing a side branch for the CNC team, specifically on how the hundreds of routers have been handled. That has been a great avenue for creativity and growth that has resulted in fewer tools breaking and the life span of each tool extending. I have studied Construction Management at Salt Lake Community College and Technology Management at Utah Valley University; however, I don't have a degree in either discipline.With my experience with CNC machines, I am looking into purchasing a wood CNC and laser engraver and starting my own side hustle, selling wood products like toys, tables, chairs, doors, etc.
