Ran the lab instruction for 75 students per term for Geologic Hazards class. Lab included field trips of up to 60 students. Instructed students in scientific method, unit conversions, map reading, basic geology, and different kinds of geologic disasters that impact humans and why they occur.

Educated the public about coral reef and mangrove ecosystems of the Florida Keys. Provided for the safety of people on the boat as well as snorkelers in the water. Assisted in boat maintenance and navigational safety on the ocean.

Establish riparian management zones in the field in accordance with state laws, identify location of endangered species on private land in order to stay in compliance with state timber management laws, measure diameter and heights of trees to estimate board feet per acre, choose trees to be taken in thinning projects using criteria based on individual projects, establish property lines in the field, survey in logging roads and skid trails for timber extraction.

Supervised restoration work crews of 5 to 12 people, performed water quality monitoring of in local watersheds, initiated a community composting program, and assisted with environmental education at local schools, grades 3-12.

Trout Lake, Wa

Worked on team that built 5 miles of livestock exclusion fencing for riparian areas, built 6 miles of trail in the Mt. St. Helen's blast area, and planted over 10,000 trees on private land.

Managed and trained four person team in tactics, land navigation, weapons and gear maintenance, and physical training.
