Since 1996 I have worked in experiential education as a wilderness trip leader with Outward Bound and White Wilderness Dog Sledding Expeditions, as the Director/Manager of outdoor education programs (Loyola University Chicago, Aurora University-George Williams College, Appalachian Mountain Club), as a Director of Operations (Global Youth Leadership Institute) and as a classroom educator at the Associates, Bachelors and Graduate degree levels (Vermillion Community College, Aurora University, George Williams College). Through these varied experiences I have developed extensive experience at all levels of experiential education program facilitation, development and management.My professional goals involve continuing to work at the administrative level for an experiential education based programs that serves a broad spectrum of populations.I currently hold or have previously been certified as a sea kayak instructor, ropes course manager, Leave No Trace Master Trainer, Wilderness First Responder and Outdoor Emergency Care (National Ski Patrol).
