Intelligent Transportation Systems Technician

Key Responsibilities: » Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and system issues.» Prepare logs to track the technical status of system, installation, and maintenance activities with accuracy and completeness.» Perform site visits, evaluate, and analyze existing systems, develop reports and plans based on project analyses and assessments, and develop solutions for upgrade and retrofit.Leadership/Project Management Responsibilities:» Coordination and attendance at project meetings with clients, public officials, engineers, planners, and transportation system users. » Provide project support in the delivery of technical and analytical services, including plan and specification preparation, cost estimates, schedules, data analysis, research. » Direct activities to ensure that installation, integration, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and requirements.» Coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.» Identify deficiencies in hardware design and implement upgrade plans.
