As the Co-Founder and CEO of Events That Benefit, I lead a passionate non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting our community, particularly at-risk youth and Latinx families. Our mission is to empower these groups by providing targeted programs in mental health, employment, cultural arts, and substance abuse prevention. We embrace diversity, operating as an LGBTQ+-friendly organization that fosters unity and resilience through free community events.I oversee all organizational efforts, from designing impactful community programs like our Drug Awareness Prevention Program and Mental Health Awareness Prevention Program, to cultivating partnerships and securing resources for our initiatives. I also guide a talented team in implementing our cultural arts events and rental space venues, focusing on mentorship and professional development for young Latino individuals.At Events That Benefit, we strive to create inclusive, educational, and empowering experiences that inspire personal growth and strengthen community bonds.

As the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Reyes Events, I have built a leading brand in the Quinceañera industry, offering top-tier choreography and event services that celebrate culture and creativity. Since launching in 2019, I have spearheaded all creative direction, from choreography to client relations, ensuring every event we handle delivers unforgettable moments.In addition to my artistic role, I manage our digital presence, including the Reyes Events website and social media platforms. Through strategic content creation and engagement, I’ve grown our community to include 22,000 Instagram followers, 3,000 YouTube subscribers, and 73,000 TikTok followers, positioning Reyes Events as a recognized name in the industry.My work involves leading a team of dancers and creative professionals while overseeing event execution and maintaining our brand's digital footprint across multiple platforms.

The Director of Young Adult Housing oversees Cocoon House programs that support 18-24 year old program participants to obtain and maintain stable housing. This position oversees a range of programs, including case management and housing navigation for street-dependent young people, providing 20 units of permanent housing and 17+ units of scattered-site rapid rehousing in the community for previously unhoused young adults, and the distribution of emergency assistance funds to prevent eviction. The Director is responsible for ensuring effective service delivery rooted in best practices, supporting staff development, and ensuring contract compliance in all areas, including maintaining program budgets.

In my role at Diaz De Baile, I served as a Choreographer and Social Media Specialist, where I combined my artistic vision with digital strategy to enhance our brand and performances. I developed original choreography that not only captivated audiences but also pushed creative boundaries.My responsibilities included managing our social media channels, crafting engaging content to promote our events and connect with our community. I was dedicated to providing exceptional client customer service, ensuring that every client felt valued and supported throughout their experience.Additionally, I took on the rewarding task of training and mentoring new dancers, guiding them in skill development and helping them build confidence in their craft. My time at Diaz De Baile was marked by a commitment to fostering a supportive environment that nurtured talent and celebrated the art of dance.

As an Academic Advisor hired by CSUN, I provided academic case management to a caseload of 60-80 high school students, guiding them through the college preparation and application process. I created and led FAFSA workshops, organized college tours, and assisted students with applying to colleges and scholarships, ensuring they had the resources and support needed to succeed in higher education.Through personalized advising, I helped students navigate academic challenges and develop actionable plans for their educational goals, fostering success and accessibility to post-secondary education.
