Founder and President of Strategic Consulting International (SCI) in Tulsa, OK. SCI provided GIS solutions and was a value added re-seller of ESRI software and Trimble GPS equipment. The company focused on large scale GIS implementations for the oil and gas industry along with Federal, State and local governments.SCI received the Trimble Mapping/GIS, North American Region - Highest Year-to-Year Growth for 2001 and 2002.In 2002 SCI developed a GIS modeling solution using ESRI's Arc/Info to assess potential damage caused by pipeline spills. The model was one of three approved by the Federal Office of Pipeline Safety as part of the Pipeline Safety Improvement Act. In support, SCI assessed 1/3 of oil and gas pipelines within the continental United States.SCI transitioned many of Oklahoma State Departments from ArcView, run on the desktop, to server based GIS using ArcSDE on top of Microsoft SQL server. The solutions included a custom JavaScript front end replacement for ArcIMS providing hosted access to each agencies information.The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation won the Digital Atlas Award in 2005 for a web-map viewer developed and hosted by SCI. The viewer processed 30 map requests per second of state-wide satellite imagery, seamless aerial photograph and 25 agency specific data layers during peak usage.SCI received the 2005 ESRI Worldwide Business Partner of the Year award for success in hosted web based solutions.The Federal Geographic Data Committee awarded SCI multi-year grants to provide metadata training and creation services to Federal Agencies. Until it's closing in 2013, SCI continued to provide GIS web hosting services to it's clients. SCI housed over 7 terabytes of data, all served to customer via custom web solutions.

While working at Psomas I developed PC based GIS solutions as the industry was transitioning from Unix workstations. In addition to project management, I prepared various levels of GIS needs assessments including feasibility studies, cost benefit analysis and implementation planning. Many projects, included data conversion, database design and GIS application development.I was fortunate to work on government GIS projects for the City of Los Angeles, CA; City of Torrance, CA; City of Huntington Beach, CA; and Republic of Turkey.Psomas introduced me to the oil and gas industry that led to designing, implementing and managing a multi-million dollar GIS implementation for Mid America Pipeline Company (MAPCO) in Tulsa, OK.
