I actively pursue new opportunities for the advancement of corporate holdings. A focal point of my duties involves economic development outreach. I meet with local economic development entities to promote current corporate holdings, as well as aid in the acquisition of potential sites for development. I conduct feasibility analyses for development opportunities and suggest a plan-of-action to corporate stakeholders for developmental consideration. Also key to my responsibilities is remaining abreast of local development patterns and civic patterns that may alter the course of action for new project implementation.

I was responsible for all operations within the retail liquor distribution environment, including, but not limited to: ensuring trained staff be present during business hours, ordering inventory, ensuring proper inventory counts be done periodically, file/maintain all tax documents regarding merchandise sales as well as employee/employer federal and state payroll taxes, pay and maintain records for all invoices and receipts, made daily cash deposits, and maintained thorough business records to remain in accordance with all applicable laws through the use of QuickBooks software.

Chief responsibilities included: supervising five departments within the hotel (front office, housekeeping, restaurant, maintenance, and sales) to ensure exemplary guest interaction. I actively participated in the creation and implementation of departmental budgets. I served as the first point-of-contact for 48 employees when assistance was needed regarding specific job duties, human resources concerns, payroll concerns, etc. I also acted as the manager on duty in the absence of the General Manager.
