Currently I work as a Critical Facilities Switchgear III. I have been involved in install, start up, and troubleshooting, low and medium voltage switchgear. I was a sergeant in the United States Army with 5 years of experience in prime power and 6 years of experience as an explosive ordnance disposal technician. I am trained on how to operate and maintain a variety of deployable power plants as well as interior electrical wiring, medium voltage cable repair and termination, circuit breaker testing, transformer testing, print reading, relay testing, troubleshooting, among others. I also attended a US Army Lineman's course and was taught about overhead/underground power distribution, transformers, digger derrick and bucket truck operations. I have qualified on a variety of deployable power plants, have experience testing according to NETA standards, load assessments for future emergency power relief plans, and experience with operating, maintaining and deploying diesel driven deployable power plants.
