Served as Project Coordinator for Fall River Conservation District to facilitate a 2-year watershed assessment of the upper Cheyenne River in South Dakota. The focus of my graduate studies was the evaluation of the impacts of urban runoff to wild brown trout in a Rapid City fishery. Data collected over 2 years, at five monitoring sites, using various automated equipment, was compared to studies documenting the effects of chemical exposure of runoff pollutants to trout. Clear skip chutes using high explosives. Clam sump at #6 Winze at 8250' below ground (deepest person in the Western Hemisphere at that time!).
