Member of the Strategic Solutions team providing support to account executives and sales engineers in North America. Focused primarily on architecting complex managed and recovery services solutions for customers of the top performing sales team in the company. These are solutions that involve being a liaison between the customer, the sales team, engineering, various product groups and legal to creatively meet often conflicting goals in a cost effective manner for both the customer and Sungard AS.

Support the sales pursuit process as the technical lead responsible for coordinating all solution design activities where cloud is the primary focus. Develop financial models for each solution and present to executive leadership team as part of deal review process. Develop and deliver customer presentations ranging from initial kick-offs to final proposals. Participate in contract negotiations serving as the technical lead to ensure that technical contract terms are in line with proposed solution. Support product management team in developing new service offerings to meet current demand.

Led a global team responsible for customer on-boarding, support, development, testing, and deployment activities of a global service management toolset supporting over 140 customers. Developed quarterly budget forecasts and responsible for managing monthly P&L's within 5% variance of the forecast. Handled all customer and internal issue escalations to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Provided strategic direction on vendor selection and product road map and maintained all vendor relations. Consistently delivered to all contractual SLA’s.

January 2007 - February 2009 - Application Monitoring Team - Managed a global team responsible for developing synthetic transactions to monitor availability and end user response time for customer applications. Was part of the initial project to define the new service offering, which included selecting the right technologies to use, sizing and implementing infrastructure to support the monitoring tools, identifying the operational model and developing the price for the service offering. Managed the operational team, managed the financial forecasts and monthly P&L's and served as the technical SME for most aspects of the service offering.August 2005 - January 2007 - Data center Transition Team - Analyzed customer applications and system architectures to determine which systems should be migrated with each phase of the data center migration. Included gathering information from application SME's, detailed review of application and system documentation, conducting network packet captures and analysis to identify integration points, ultimately resulting in recommendations on which systems should be migrated together.

Responsible for developing tools and automation capabilities to simplify and streamline operational activities. Spanned multiple areas of responsibility including working closely with customers to gather requirements, database schema design, Oracle database implementation and administration, parsing unstructured log files using PERL and web-based user interface development based on JSP. Led many of the team's activities and served as the primary interface to the business and end users.
