• Managing the effective implementation of backup and restore procedures and working practices • Communicating changes and enhancement to backup and restore standards, procedures and technology • Review backup and restore reports on a daily basis and monitor backup and restore information, standards, procedures, measurements, tools and technology • Ensure compliance with data architecture and data management standards and procedures defined in the Data Management Framework • Monitor storage management information, standards, procedures, measurements, tools and technology • Determine what reports are produced and the reporting schedule. Some of these reports include: o Storage resource capacity and utilization o Storage resource availability o Storage resource performance o Growth trends o Storage incidents and problem • Work closely with Service Level Management to ensure that data management services remain capable of meeting ongoing and future requirements • Estimate overall storage resource and budget requirements for Asset Management as input to the IT Plan in conjunction with other process owners. This would include items such as: o New technology capital spending and development o Staff training and development needs • Attend appropriate management level service support and development reviews (Including supplier meetings and SLA development and review meetings) • Collate and analyze process measurements associated with Data Management and recommend improvement activities based on service deviation • Consolidate and feed Configuration Management process measurements for management reporting

- Administration of a Central Help Desk Facility- Systems Implementation and Support- Availing of all Office and Corporate Software Systems- User Support and Training of End-Users on IT systems

- System Analysis and Recommendations- Design, development, Implementation and maintenance of application software- Computer training and User support to ensure that Information Technology is best used- Preparation and maintenance of up-to-date systems and user documentation

- Communicating and Training End-Users- Implemented Business Information Systems (B.I.S) systems in 6 different plants for the company location National to help in Steel Processing Procedures.- Develop and use SQL queries to retrieve or update data in the database where problems might have occurred and could not be corrected by the End-Users.- Problem Solving (Help with troubleshooting System problems)- Systems Support (Technical Support)- Systems implementation (Hardware and Software)
