Instructional Technology Manager
As Instructional Technology Manager my chief focus was hiring, training and mentoring a group of 40 to 50 student workers. Enacting a people first philosophy, my approach to information technology is rooted in meeting human needs with humanity, personal responsibility and integrity every time. This allowed a diverse contribution of services from a diverse group of workers for UArizona’s diverse campus community.Some of my responsibilities in this role:Develop, implement and maintain training courses with access management automation.Trainer for documentation and ticketing standards.Develop and publish staff schedules for 10 locations.Project manage approximately 10 advanced student workers at a given time on organizational/personal development projects.Manage inventory, staff and information systems for A/V rental for UArizona campus community.Made regular updates to our department's Drupal based website.Maintained weekly schedule for 10+ locations on campus across in-person and online modalities.Worked as part of a tight-knit management team responsible timely communication to a large group of workers. With my strong connections with our student workers I was able to incorporate diverse feedback into department wide communications.
