- Provided technical, tactical, and procedural oversight on Mission Assurance program areas (protect the force), to include but not limited to: Antiterrorism and Force Protection, Critical Infrastructure Program, chemical/Biological/Radiological/Nuclear/High Yield Explosives, Disaster Preparedness and support, and Continuity of Operations.- Serve as command nuclear weapons security officer.- Provide technical expertise, analysis and recommendations to execute the Mission Assurance Program. - Manage functional and administrative systems (Solicit, collect, report, and analyze resources and data available for the execution of Mission Assurance program).- Serve as coordinator to defense support to civil authority’s disaster support team.- Participate in quarterly Hampton Roads Emergency Management Committee.- Serve as continuity of operations officer.

Marine Corps Security Force Regiment

- Regimental Operations Officer, responsible for training and readiness oversight of a geographically dispersed Regiment of over 3200 Marines and Sailors at (2) Strategic Weapons Security Battalions and (8) Marine Security Force/Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team (FAST) Companies world-wide.- Serve as nuclear weapons security officer.- Facilitate and coordinate training & exercise participation with adjacent Navy and USMC Forces fostering interoperability and teamwork.- Managed and tracked funding for pre-deployment training and operations, account in excess of 400,000. - Coordinate with operational commanders for the proper mission, force organization and required equipment for the proper execution of Marine Corps Security Force AT/FP measures. - Serve as command primary representative to the initial response cell, crisis action team, and battle staff during contingencies and exercise. 
